Malan Breton Travels to Taiwan to Receive Award

On Sunday March 1st,  celebrity, fashion designer Malan Breton will board a plane for Taiwan, his birthplace.
For each and every fashion collection Malan designs,he is inspired by the picturesque landscapes, extraordinary floral colors and the overall majestic beauty of Taiwan.
The vivid memories of his homeland are a constant for him when he designs.
 In September 2014 Malan collaborated with Taiwan Tourism and created a spectacular fashion show entitled
A Journey to Taiwan, it was one of the most popular fashion shows during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center. This journey continues as a Love Story to Taiwan, and will once again be a theme for his Spring Summer  2016 collection for men and women.
The trip will be documented in a film that will be submitted to various American film festivals this year. Here are some of the sites that Malan will visit while on a guided tour of Taiwan: Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Lungshan Temple, The National Palace Museum,
Chishingtan Beach, Taroko,Chung Tai Chan Monastery, and The Taiwan Lantern Festival. He will receive an Award from The Taiwan Tourism Bureau on Tuesday March 3rd at The Grand Hotel in Taipei. Malan is listed as one of the top 30 actors from Taiwan. He won the 2014 European Fashion Council “Eirene” Fashion Award, the 2014 Fashion Icon of the Year award from UCOF, and was nominated for a 2011 WSGN Global Fashion Award.
